If the inside temperature is kept below 15°C / 62°F, please turn off the unit and block-up all the grilles located at the end of ducts running in the attic or in a non heated area.

If the inside temperature is kept at a comfortable level (15°C / 62°F minimum) during your absence, it is not necessary to exchange air with the outside in order to prevent excessive dryness in the house. You can choose between 2 options:

Turn off the unit and block-up all the grilles located at the end of ducts running in the attic or in a non heated area.

OR

Let your unit run in recirculation mode, if your unit is equipped with this mode, without doing anything else.
